Flavor Review
Cucumber Melon: One of my favorite energy drinks of all time and my favorite 3D flavor of the rebrand original lineup. This flavor is so unique, refreshing and well done. The cucumber comes through first with a crisp, watery freshness that is not vegetal or grassy. It keeps the flavor light and prevents it from tasting syrupy. The melon follows with a soft sweetness that rounds everything out, giving it that classic cucumber-melon vibe without being overpowering. It may sound strange, but TRUST ME - it will blow you away. 9.8 / 10
Blueberry Mist: Imagine the blue Powerade Zero without the harsh artificial flavor and strange film left on your tongue. Most blue energy drinks are blue raspberry, which makes this one really stand out on it’s own. It leans more refreshing than a typical “syrupy” sweet blue energy drink. 8.1 / 10
Watermelon Grape: When I first saw this flavor, my first thought was “there is no way that could work.” WELL; yet again, 3D impressed me and this became one of my favorites. The watermelon and the grape flavor are so perfectly balanced and are not fighting each other at all. The flavor itself reminds me of a purple pixie stick, but with more of a refreshing, crisp finish from that watermelon. Another unique flavor executed beautifully. 8.9 / 10
Liberty Pop: This was a flavor from the original 3D line and; to be honest, I wasn’t the biggest fan of it from the old 3D. I thought it was too heavy on the cherry, while the blue raspberry and lime got lost. Too much cherry is rarely a good thing when it comes to an energy drink. They really stepped things up with this reformulation and CRUSHED this flavor. You get the cherry, blue raspberry and lime all balanced unlike any other Bomb Pop flavor on the market. This has won multiple “American” energy drink battles and; to me, is the best in that flavor category on the market. 8.7 / 10
Strawberry Lemonade: This was another flavor from the original 3D line and it was one of my favorites from the original line. Unfortunately, this is my least favorite this time around. It’s not bad, I would happily drink it but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. It lacks something - you can a hit of strawberry initially but the pucker from the lemonade is just not where it needs to me. Strawberry lemonade is a flavor I LOVE that I have not seen done well in an energy drink. Maybe one day. 7.3 / 10
