Pepsi Launches Prebiotic Cola — Yes, Really.

The gut health movement is officially mainstream—Pepsi just confirmed a prebiotic soda is dropping this fall.

Called Pepsi Prebiotic Cola, this new drink is set to launch in two flavors: Classic Cola and Cherry Vanilla. Each can clocks in at just 30 calories, with 5g of sugar, 3g of prebiotic fiber, and no artificial sweeteners. It’s positioned as a functional soda alternative for consumers looking to support digestion without sacrificing taste.

This drop comes just months after PepsiCo’s acquisition of Poppi, one of the leaders in the functional soda space. So it’s no surprise they’re moving fast to compete in the “better-for-you” beverage aisle with a familiar flavor and mass-market appeal.

Availability:
You can expect to see it available for purchase online this fall, with in-store retail launches rolling out in 2025.

Whether you’re a wellness diehard or just want a soda that doesn’t wreck your gut, this is worth keeping on your radar.
